What Is the Mukhyamantri Anuprati Coaching Yojana?
This scheme was introduced by the Rajasthan government to assist meritorious students from marginalised sections in accessing coaching services for competitive examinations and professional entrance tests. The government directly pays the entire coaching fee to reputed, empanelled coaching institutes on behalf of selected students.
The scheme covers a wide range of competitive examinations, including UPSC Civil Services for IAS, IPS, and IFS preparation, Rajasthan Civil Services (RAS), NEET, JEE, and CLAT, among others.
2026-27 Application Status
The online application for the minority community under Mukhyamantri Anuprati Coaching Yojana for the 2026-27 session will be launching shortly. Applications will be submitted through the SSO Portal at sso.rajasthan.gov.in.
Based on the previous session’s timeline, the government started CM Anuprati coaching online applications on August 15, 2025, with a last date of September 14, 2025. The 2026-27 session dates have not been officially announced yet, but candidates are advised to complete all document preparation steps now so they can apply as soon as the window opens.

Eligibility Criteria
Who Can Apply?
Eligible applicants must belong to one of the categories specified by the state government, including SC, ST, EBC, OBC, Minority, or EWS, with a family income not exceeding Rs 8 lakh per annum. Additionally, children of government employees at Pay-Matrix Level 11 will also qualify for this programme.
Candidates must be permanent residents of Rajasthan. Only those enrolled in schools and colleges within the state are eligible.
Special Requirement for Minority Community Candidates
This is the most critical step for Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, and Parsi candidates. According to the District Minority Welfare Officer, Abhishek Siddh, applicants from minority communities must obtain a Minority Certificate and get it updated on the Jan Aadhaar Portal before applying. If the minority category is not updated in Jan Aadhaar, the candidate will not be considered under the minority quota, even if they hold the certificate separately. This step must be completed well before the application window opens, as it takes time to process at the Jan Aadhaar portal.
Exams Covered Under the Scheme
Students can prepare for the following exams through the Rajasthan Anuprati Yojana: Civil Services Exam, Rajasthan Public Service Commission, RAS and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Examination, Sub Inspector and other exams above 3600 Grade Pay or Pay Matrix Level 10, Rajasthan Staff Selection Commission Exam above Grade Pay 2400 or Pay Matrix Level 5, and Rajasthan Staff Selection Commission Constable Examination. NEET, JEE, CLAT, REET, and Banking and SSC exams are also covered under the scheme.
Financial Benefits: More Than Just Free Coaching
This scheme does not just pay for coaching fees. If a student leaves their hometown and relocates to another city to attend the allotted coaching, the government provides an additional financial assistance of Rs. 40,000 per year directly into their bank account to cover hostel and food expenses. This is paid via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) after the student submits a rent agreement or hostel fee receipt.
A student can receive free coaching under this scheme only once in their lifetime, and it covers coaching for a maximum period of one year.
Selection Process: Merit-Based, No Entrance Exam
There is no separate entrance exam for this scheme. The Social Justice and Empowerment Department (SJE) selects students purely based on a Merit List. The merit list is prepared district-wise and category-wise based on the percentages students scored in their 10th or 12th board exams. Once your name appears in the final merit list, you can report to your allotted coaching institute and start your classes for free.
The merit list for this scheme is prepared using a specific formula. For CBSE board students, the percentage obtained in Class 10 or 12 is multiplied by a coefficient of 0.9, while for RBSE (Rajasthan board) students, the percentage is taken as-is without any adjustment.

Your CBSE score of 90% will be multiplied by 0.9, giving an effective merit score of 81%. An RBSE student with 90% will retain their full 90% for merit calculation purposes. This adjustment exists because RBSE and CBSE marking systems differ, and the coefficient helps standardise the comparison. So as a CBSE student, you should aim to score higher to stay competitive against RBSE counterparts.

No. A student can benefit from the Mukhyamantri Anuprati Coaching Yojana only once in their lifetime, and the coaching is provided for a maximum duration of one year. Q4. If I get coaching in Jaipur but I live in Barmer, will I receive the Rs. 40,000 annual financial support?
Yes. The additional Rs. 40,000 per year benefit for hostel and food expenses is specifically available to students who relocate to a city different from their home district or panchayat for the purpose of attending the allotted coaching. You would need to submit a valid rent agreement or hostel fee receipt as evidence, after which the amount is transferred directly to your bank account via DBT. This benefit does not apply if you are attending coaching in your own home district.
