Rajasthan has approximately 950 BVSc and AH seats spread across government constituent colleges and affiliated private veterinary colleges. RAJUVAS has three constituent colleges: the main campus in Bikaner, Navania, and PGIVER Jaipur. Private affiliated veterinary colleges including Apollo, Mahatma Jyotiba Fule, and Arawali also participate in counselling. Additionally, 15 percent of seats across these private colleges are part of the VCI All India Quota counselling.

Candidates from any state can participate in this track. This counselling is managed centrally and students register separately on the VCI counselling portal.
Track 2: Rajasthan State Counselling (85% seats)
RAJUVAS manages the remaining 85 percent of seats through state-level counselling, which is what the September 13 to 22 window covers. Only candidates with Rajasthan domicile can participate in state quota seats. The process involves online registration, fee payment, document upload, choice filling, and online seat allotment.

About the BVSc and AH Programme
The BVSc and AH degree is a five-and-a-half year programme that includes a mandatory one-year internship at the end. The degree is recognised by the Veterinary Council of India and qualifies graduates to work as veterinarians in clinical practice, government animal husbandry departments, defence services, research institutions, and the food and dairy industry. RAJUVAS itself is recognised by the VCI and accredited by ICAR, ensuring that its degree has national and international standing.
