The result is published separately for TSP (Tribal Sub Plan) and NTSP (Non-Tribal Sub Plan) areas, and also department-wise for General Education, Elementary Education, and Sanskrit Education.

Important Things to Know About the REET Mains Result 2026
RSSB disqualified 5,761 candidates from the result because they left more than 10% of the questions unattempted or failed to darken any option on their OMR sheets. This is an important rule every future aspirant should remember.
A total of 11 questions were deleted across all 12 set series of the question booklet. Marks for deleted questions were awarded to all candidates equally.
The board used a normalization process to ensure fair evaluation across different exam shifts and sets. Candidates can check their raw score and normalized final marks on their individual scorecard by logging in with their application number and date of birth on the RSSB portal.
REET Mains 2026: What Happens After the Result?
Qualifying the written exam is not the final step. Shortlisted candidates must go through a structured selection process. Here is what comes next.
Step 1: Fill the Online Scrutiny Form
Provisionally shortlisted Level 1 candidates must fill the Online Detailed Application-cum-Scrutiny Form between June 18, 2026 and July 2, 2026. Missing this deadline can result in disqualification from the process.
Step 2: Document Verification (DV)
Shortlisted candidates will need to appear at a designated center for Document Verification. The following original documents are required:
- REET Admit Card and Application Form
- Marksheets and certificates for Class 10, 12, Graduation, and B.Ed. / D.El.Ed.
- REET Eligibility Certificate
- Category / Caste Certificate and Domicile (Mool Niwas) Certificate
- Character Certificate and Income Proof
- Passport-size photographs and a valid Photo ID
Step 3: Final Merit List and School Allotment
After Document Verification, RSSB will publish the final merit list based on actual vacancies and verified eligibility. Candidates will then receive district-wise school allocation, an official appointment order, and will begin a 2-year probation period as newly appointed teachers.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q1. My roll number is not appearing in the REET Level 1 merit list PDF. What should I do?
If your roll number is not visible in the PDF, it means you have not been shortlisted in the current provisional list. You can download your individual scorecard from the RSSB portal using your application number and date of birth to review your marks and check whether you fall within 2 marks of the cut-off, which sometimes qualifies candidates for a waiting list during later stages of DV.
Q2. Can candidates who are within 2 marks below the cut-off also apply for the Scrutiny Form?
Yes, RSSB has mentioned that candidates falling within approximately 2 marks below the official cut-off may also be eligible to fill the Scrutiny Form. Such candidates should monitor the official RSSB website regularly for any specific notification regarding this provision.
Q3. What documents are mandatory to carry for REET Mains Document Verification?
Candidates must carry original copies along with self-attested photocopies of their REET Admit Card, Class 10 and 12 marksheets, graduation and B.Ed./D.El.Ed. certificates, REET Eligibility Certificate, caste and domicile certificate, income certificate, character certificate, and a valid government-issued photo ID. Missing any document may lead to cancellation of candidacy at the DV stage.
Q4. How does the normalization process affect my final REET Mains marks?
Since the REET Mains exam was conducted across multiple shifts and dates, RSSB applied a normalization formula to ensure that no candidate is at a disadvantage due to varying difficulty levels across different shifts. The normalized score adjusts your raw marks based on the average performance of all candidates in your shift relative to other shifts. Your final scorecard shows both raw marks and normalized marks, and the normalized score is used for merit list preparation.
