The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the much-awaited notification for Regional Rural Bank recruitment under CRP RRBs-XV, the 15th edition of this exam cycle.
A total of 13,706 vacancies have been announced across Office Assistant and Officer Scale I, II and III posts in 28 participating Regional Rural Banks. This is one of the biggest banking recruitment drives of 2026, and lakhs of graduates across India are expected to apply.
Online registration began on 1 September 2026 and will close on 21 September 2026. Candidates who wish to build a career in rural banking should apply through the official IBPS website before the deadline.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
A graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university is required for both Office Assistant and Officer Scale I posts. Knowledge of the local language of the concerned RRB’s state is compulsory for Office Assistant candidates. Officer Scale II and III posts require additional work experience along with a relevant degree.
Age Limit
Age is calculated as on 1 September 2026.
- Office Assistant: 18 to 28 years
- Officer Scale I: 18 to 30 years
- Officer Scale II: 21 to 32 years
- Officer Scale III: 21 to 40 years
Reserved category candidates get the standard age relaxation as per government norms.
Application Fee
Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, ESM and DESM categories need to pay Rs. 175, while all other candidates must pay Rs. 850. GST and applicable bank transaction charges are borne by the candidate.
